On March 9th, 2024, I immersed myself in the vibrant world of Theyyam, a sacred folk dance tradition in Payyavoor, Kannur. Tasked with documenting this culturally significant event for a documentary film, I navigated dynamic lighting, large crowds, and the deeply respectful atmosphere with ease. These photographs not only capture the spirit of Theyyam but also reflect my versatility and ability to adapt seamlessly to challenging, sensitive environments, ensuring compelling visuals no matter the setting.
